Security Focus - Paper I submitted for one of my classes. It focuses on the human element of computer sercurity. I acted out three different scenarios that the best Infomation Technology professional would not even think about. (The scenarios are only listed but not in the presentation since they were acted out.)

Can tweak Access and Excel with Visual Basic. Can migrate databases from ACT to Outlook to a pocket PC for example. Able to create Union Queries in Access using SQL statements.

Aquasource (Utility Company): Created a collections database and a complaint database for the Accounting Dept. Head using Access.

During my tenure in medical sales; I have created, migrated and maintained databases using CardScan, Outlook, Excel, Access, Goldmine, ACT! And Lotus Notes.

Using Visual Basic 6.0, I wrote and compiled a program to help contractors estimate costs for window and door design/installation. It involved selecting various heights and widths, performing calculations with different parameters.

Created a managerial database for the Vice President of a utility company that combined the individual water and sewer utilities and their respective managerial reports in Visual Basic 6.0

Have experience in diagnosing and repairing computer software, hardware and security issues for both personal and business clients. A reference list can be provided. I have been supporting clients' with their technical computer issues for several years. Resolved issues from viruses, spyware, firewall issues, boot problems (computer will not start up), and upgraded various hardware devices (i.e. modem, dvd drive, memory) to name a few.

Clients include: Primo! Ristaurante, Linda Thomas Photography, Michael Fehily Spanish Professor, Bill Graham Enterprises, Wizard of Paws, etc.

Jackson Hewitt Technology Center, Sarasota, FL  ▪   November 2007 to February 2008   ▪   Customer Support - Tier 2 (seasonal position)

This was a seasonal position where I troubleshooted various custom-designed company computer programs as well as networking/hardware issues for Jackson Hewitt's Franchisees via the telephone.

I found the work to be very interesting and challenging. Jackson Hewitt is very generous to all of their employees. They had to lay off people earlier than expected due to the successful implementation of their Philippines Call Center (Tier 1).

This was a position that allowed me to introduce a brand-new life-saving technology from a start-up company in Sarasota, FL to the medical marketplace. I did not have any previous contacts in the hospitals I covered, which were located from Brooksville, FL to Naples, FL. I brought PRO QR Powder to 13 various hospital committees as well as converted 11 hospitals (3 were hospital-wide conversions) to purchasing the product during my one-year tenure.
